I see duplicate shortcuts with the exact same name in KillerKeys, why is this?
Apr 13, 2013 by Gard Cookson

Sometimes you may see exact duplicate, or very similar shortcuts in our program, such as seeing the "Save" button multiple times. This can happen when applications use miltiple keyboard commands to accomplish the same thing. One example in Internet Explorer is the shortcut "Close Tab". Both Control+W and Control+F4 will do that command. If you have chosen to "Display shortcuts on line two" you will notice that although some shortcuts have the exact same name, they are actually accomplished by two different sets of keystrokes. You are free to use either one in that scenario, they both would work.
