Installing KillerKeys On A Non-Internet Connected Computer
Follow thise steps for installing and activating KillerKeys on a non-internet connected computer.
1. Run the KillerKeys installer on unconnected computer; also have your KillerKeys serial number handy.
2. A pop-up dialog will come on screen that gives you a website to visit, as well as a Request number (write this number down, you will need it more than once, and keep the pop-up open for now).
3. Click on the “Activate” License Function to the right of this page, type in all the requested info, and you will get back an Activation Code, write this down.
4. Click on the “Renew Updates” License Function to the right of this page, type in all the requested info, and you will get a Renew Updates (or “Upgrade”) password, write this down.
5. Click on the “Unlock Editions” License Function to the right of this page, type in all the requested info, and you will get back Feature Passwords for each Edition that you’ve purchased, write these down.
6. Go back to unconnected computer, choose “Manual Activation” from the pop-up screen, and enter your Activation Code.
7. A new pop-up window will ask for your Renew Updates password, enter it.
8. Close the KillerKeys program after the installation finishes by right clicking the KillerKeys icon in the bottom right notification area, and choosing “Close KillerKeys”. (You can also close it via the Windows Task Manager if you'd like).
9. Go into your Program Files folder and find the KillerKeys program folder. Within the KillerKeys program folder, you should see “KillerKeys.exe”, select it with a single left mouse click.
10. Hold down the Shift and OS (Windows) keys on your keyboard, then double click the selected “KillerKeys.exe” to launch the program. Continue holding the Shift+OS keys for the entire launch duration.
11. At the end of the program launch a new pop-up dialog will be presented called “License Options”. Cycle through the tabs by clicking on the arrows at the top right of this window.
12. Find the Feature Passwords tab, then enter the appropriate password for each Edition that you purchased, then click OK.
13. KillerKeys should continue to launch normally and all of your purchased Editions will be unlocked.
